The veteran’s history project comes to the Rocky Mountains campus

Prince Institute graduates offered their court reporting skills to help preserve the stories of U.S. veterans at the Rocky Mountains Campus on June 10, 2011—an anniversary for one WWII veteran who shared his memories—D-Day Plus Four.
 
The Veteran’s History Project collects personal accounts of American war veterans and preserves them at the Library of Congress so future generations may learn and understand the realities of war. Not only was this an opportunity for the students and faculty of Prince Institute to put their recording expertise to great use, it was a way to show Colorado’s local heroes how appreciative the community is of their service.
