Prince Institute, a Stenograph school, with campuses in Montgomery, Alabama, Westminster (Denver), Colorado, and Schaumburg (Chicago), Illinois, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with ComPsych® Corporation to provide counseling and guidance services for all of its students.

Prince Institute students are adult learners enrolled in a rigorous program that requires thirty (30) months or more to complete. “Life happens to our students”, says Dave Wynne, Senior Vice President of Stenograph. “We’re happy to extend these professional services to all of them whether on campus or online. It is our hope that access to these confidential services will allow our students to overcome life’s unexpected events and achieve their goal of a well-paying career in court reporting, CART, Captioning, or Proofreading/Scoping.”

Services available to students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week include:

  • Student Assistance Program (SAP): Telephonic emotional counseling support, helping students address an array of personal difficulties, including stress, anxiety, depression, family/marital relationships, substance abuse, difficulties at work, etc.

  • GuidanceResources® Online: Online access to timely, expert information on thousands of topics, including relationships, work, school, children, wellness, legal, financial, and free time. Students can search for qualified child and elder care providers, attorneys, and financial planners as well as ask questions, take self-assessments, and more.
