The ringing of the bell signifies a student has completed the Judicial Reporting Program and reached the target speed of 225.

These pictures are of Krystle (row 1) and Leah (row 2) ringing the bell. Friends and family shared the moment.

In this particular instance, the bell was rung so hard it actually came off the wall! Both Krystle and Leah will be walking on the 17th of this month in their graduation ceremony. Congratulations!

This fall quarter, we laid down a challenge: the Homework Challenge. 100 hours of homework over 10 weeks an extra 10 hours of practice a week. Here are the winners (left to right): Katie W., Barbara A., Heather T., Nina H., Anna Lindsey L., Amanda R., Amanda S., Ashley S., and Amanda M.
We take our college football pretty seriously and celebrate a local rivalry called the Iron Bowl every year on Thanksgiving Saturday between the University of Alabama and Auburn University. Winner gets bragging rights for a year, and in case you missed it ... well, let's just say, 'ROLL TIDE!'
November is also the birthday month of our Dean of Academic Affairs, Ms. Ann Schmidt. This year, she requested a special kind of "cake." Mmmm ... the crème brûlée kind!
In addition to the annual food drive, a local animal shelter in need of assistance was on our list of charitable organizations this year, and it turns out there are many animal lovers among us. Many thanks to all those who gave and supported the cause.
Along with the usual Dirty Santa Gift Exchange, this year we decided to have a Door Decorating Competition in the theme of a popular Christmas carol. Pictured here is the First Place door: “Blue Christmas” by Elvis Presley/the Theory I students. We support our troops!
We also had a People’s Choice category and used our canned and dried goods for the food drive as votes. The People’s Choice was “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” by The Grinch/Speed Building students.
Independent judges were called upon to make the tough decisions on the holiday doors. Left to right: alum and advisory board member Karen Reagan Drinkard, associate of our building and friend to Prince Institute Robert “Bob” Hill, and Prince Institute’s founder Sara Prince.
